As part of re-lease-ing the ambitions that no longer hold gold for me personally (cue collective nodal axis change to Pisces/Virgo), I will be making my signature series—MYOGA Seasons—public. Over the next 6 months I will share each progressive video in the season of the year in which it sits. Since I’m deciding this a few weeks after the December solstice and I need to catch us up, this message includes a few videos for both Southern and Northern Hemispheres :)
If you’d like to receive the videos direct from YouTube as they're made public each week, subscribe to MYOGA’s channel here. I’ll be adding some of my other favourite practices like face yoga and Tibetan yoga in the future.
I hope you’ll benefit from these practices. I know I do. Odd as it may sound, I still practice with these videos when I want to align with the Seasons energetically and I need a bit more rigour than I’m likely to put myself through on my own. As much as I love being a student in other people’s classes, I also love and value the decades of devotion I put into MYOGA and being able to do 20-90 minutes on my own, at home, at any hour.

First Summer Round 2--Nourishing, Digesting, & Strengthening
If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere and just now stepping into MYOGA Seasons, Round 1 introduced the energies of Manipura Chakra/Navel Centre with some key pranayam and digestion-stimulating practices, as well as this Basics level video. I recommend starting there, especially if you strike any trouble here in Round 2.

Below is last year’s write-up with additional supports on Round 3:
First Summer Round 3--Tapas, the Fire to stay in the Fire and be Purified by it
Today, as I post this, Pluto is transiting into Aquarius after 15 years (ish) in Capricorn. The dwarf planet of the deep, dark down-under will be in this sign of the stars, freedom, and humanitarianism for the next 20 years (ish). Don’t worry if that’s gibberish to you. Astrology means language (logos) of the stars, so, like any language, it requires a bit of learning. A dear friend asked me my perspective on this shift so I mulled it a bit…
Northern Hemisphere
Above the equator we’re currently in MYOGA’s Deepest Winter Season, and here is Round 1 of 4: Infinite Beginnings
Click below for a more thorough write-up, including supportive links from the Basics and Sounds MYOGA modules. Lots to get you started in your infinite beginnings!
Deepest Winter Round 1--Infinite Beginnings
Wishing a Warm Winter of New Beginnings to Northern Hemisphere folk!
Below is the direct link to Deepest Winter Round 2: Existence Emerges
And below is last year’s write-up about Round 2, again with all the goodies:
Deepest Winter Round 2--Existence Emerges
Throughout our Deepest Winter Season we are guided by the structure and meaning of Kirtan Kriya with its 4-fold circularity. In Round 1 we tap into the overall Existence with Sa. Then we come into Individuation, Existence Emerging or Coming into Being with Ta in this 2nd Round. Round 3 takes us into the Cessation of Being with Na. And with the Wrap-Up in Round 4 we embrace the liminal space between dying down and returning into form again, the Rebirth of Ma.
Here is the direct link to Round 3: Dropping Down into Death
Below is last year’s in-depth write-up and additional practices for Round 3:
Deepest Winter Round 3 - Dropping Down into Death
In the last analysis, it is our conception of death that decides the answers to all the questions that life puts to us. ~Dag Hammarskjöld
Whether you’re managing the heat or the cold, the long days or the short, this time of year is about reconciling with what can be re-leased and committing to what’s being retained. Next up are the 4th Rounds of both Seasons, which are essentially the 3 Rounds linked together into 90 minute practices. Until then, I hope you’ll dedicate some time to cultivating ease, strength and resilience through all these options.
May you be well and all those you love be well.
May these practices positively reconnect our human species to all our relations and aid in rebalancing our wonky seasons.
Much love,
Mox
