First Summer Round 4: Patience Pays--Consolidate, Concentrate, Be You!
Sheesh am I out of shape! This wrap-up round of First Summer, focused in Manipura Chakra at the naval centre, is deceptive. We barely get up off the ground yet it’s so focused in the core, all the way around, that when we do get onto our feet we’re still feeling the core support. I kicked my own butt, or at least my self from 10 years ago did!

On this New Aquarian Moon and the start of the Chinese new year of the Wood Snake, Agni Sara helps us clear out the detritus in the gut and the mind. And Matangi Mudra irreverently reminds us to commit to the seed we plant in those cleared spaces.
That post gives lots of smaller options, pulled from the previous 3 Rounds of First Summer and also from the MYOGA Sounds, Restores and Basics modules, to build to the longer practice linked below.
Start somewhere, anywhere!
As I say at the start of Round 1 (which is also the start of Round 4, the wrap-up round linked below), clarify your commitment. There may be myriad amazing qualities or realities you’d like to cultivate or manifest, so choose one for now and dedicate this practice to that one seed. Next practice choose another intention and commit to that. And so on…
There are a few good challenges in this practice and one of my favourites is one I made up that requires us to become adept at laughing on command. I’ve actually been paid good money for this skill but aside from any capitalistic gain, in our day and age, laughter is invaluable medicine.
There’s a good long silent rest once you make it to the end, so enjoy developing the skill of being still and integrating all the prior active practice. More powa to you!
