I mean do you? Love the thing that wakes you out of dreams and yanks you from your comfort under the comforter. Your denial under your doona. Your divorce from “the real world” hiding out under your duvet. While it’s actively “alarming”, do you snuggle in close to its blare? More likely you slam your hand over the snooze button or jam it under your pillow. You have it, you need it, but I doubt you love it. The alarm.
You hit my button for alarms - these days having my own resistance as a badge of honor. Some demise of waking, wondering -- just why? hahah Thank you Melissa! I do love your abundance of turning humor
When I hear the birds waking me, that's the best. But must admit, I burn candles at all ends! hahaha the night air is so gorgeous here. I had just been thinking how grand to have the sun shine in my morning window... ah well. Will have to work on scheduling with the birds. and the tides. - or else a song.... that used to be great. Set the clock to the radio and it'd turn on. Many moons ago - hahaah!
I can imagine nights are as amazing as days in Hawaii! And I agree that songs are a brilliant way to greet the day. I am especially fond of the devotional ones.

Thank you for reading and adding your energy to the conversation Sue! Like you, I'm wondering how we're impacted by all the sounds...
